What Is the BBB Torch Award for Ethics?

The BBB Torch Awards for Ethics is one of the highest honors BBB bestows upon a company and is designed to highlight outstanding ethical businesses. Each year, the BBB Serving the Pacific Southwest selects a small group of businesses that go above and beyond to demonstrate outstanding ethics, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the communities they serve.

Finalists are chosen by an independent panel of volunteer community leaders. They are reviewed on four key pillars: Character, Culture, Customers, and Community.

Businesses must submit a detailed written application. They then meet with the judging panel in person to share their story. Being named a finalist reflects a company's commitment to ethical practices every single day, not just a one-time effort.
